1. What is AMC?
An Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) is a service agreement that extends technical support and maintenance beyond the standard warranty period or complements it for ongoing system reliability.
AMC applies primarily to IoT solutions, deployed systems, and critical infrastructure supplied by TEK DEPO.
2. Scope of AMC Services
Depending on the selected plan, AMC may include:
- Preventive maintenance and periodic system checks
- Remote monitoring and diagnostics
- Firmware and software updates
- Technical support (remote and/or on-site)
- Priority issue resolution
- System performance optimization
3. AMC Package Options
a. Basic AMC
- Remote technical support during business hours
- Email and phone-based assistance
- Limited troubleshooting support
- Guidance for issue resolution
Suitable for small deployments or non-critical systems where on-site support is not frequently required.
b. Standard AMC
- All features of Basic AMC
- Scheduled preventive maintenance (periodic)
- Firmware and software updates
- Priority response for support requests
- Limited on-site support (as per agreement)
Ideal for medium-scale deployments requiring regular monitoring and maintenance.
c. Premium AMC
- All features of Standard AMC
- Priority support with faster response times
- Comprehensive on-site support
- Remote system monitoring (where applicable)
- Preventive and corrective maintenance coverage
- Dedicated support coordination
Recommended for mission-critical deployments requiring maximum uptime and proactive system management.
4. Service Levels and Response Time
Response and resolution times may vary depending on the selected AMC plan and issue severity. Detailed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) will be defined in the AMC agreement.
5. What is Covered Under AMC
- System diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Maintenance of TEK DEPO supplied hardware and solutions
- Software updates and patches (where applicable)
- Performance optimization and system checks
6. What is Not Covered
- Physical damage due to misuse, accidents, or environmental factors
- Unauthorized modifications or third-party interference
- Replacement of hardware unless explicitly included in the AMC agreement
- Issues arising from external systems or infrastructure
- Consumables and accessories unless specified
7. Customer Responsibilities
- Ensure proper operating environment and power conditions
- Provide necessary access for remote or on-site support
- Follow recommended usage and maintenance guidelines
- Report issues promptly with accurate details
8. AMC Duration and Renewal
AMC plans are typically valid for 12 months from the start date, unless otherwise agreed.
Renewal terms, pricing, and scope may be revised at the time of renewal based on system performance and requirements.
9. Relationship with Warranty
- AMC may run alongside or after the standard product warranty
- Warranty covers manufacturing defects, while AMC focuses on ongoing maintenance and support
- AMC does not override warranty exclusions unless explicitly stated
10. Limitation of Liability
TEK DEPO’s obligations under AMC are limited to the services explicitly defined in the agreement.
TEK DEPO shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of business, data, or operational downtime.
11. Policy Updates
TEK DEPO reserves the right to update or modify this AMC Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon publication on this website.
